Ex-Yobe Gov, Bukar Abba loses eldest daughter, Buni reacts

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Bunim has condoled the former Governor, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim over the death of his daughter, Aisha Bukar Abba known as Ya’Ummi.

Buni, in a statement signed by his spokesman, Mamman Mohammed, was at the Maitama residence of Sen. Ibrahim to condole the former governor and his family over the demise of Aisha.

He said although it is painful losing a loved one, but that is the will of Allah and as Muslims, “we must submit and accept the will of our creator the Almighty.”

The governor prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her Aljannatur Firdaus, while also praying to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Aisha Bukar Abba Ibrahim, a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), died in Cairo, Egypt at the age of 42 years following delivery complications.

Late Aisha was survived by her parents, husband and an eight-month-old daughter.
