Group tasks leaders on equity, insists S/East must produce Nigeria’s next President

The Pan-Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction Coalition (PANPIEC), a socio-political group, has called for peace and harmony among Nigerians.

The group also called for social justice and equity in national life.

In a release, PANPIEC insisted on political justice in Nigeria, calling on other regions of the country to support a power shift to Igboland in 2023.

The group’s release was jointly signed by the Convener, Mazi Chuks Ibegbu, and Chairman of the Southeast Congress, Chief Ochiabutor Kanu, and issued to journalists at the end of its congress held in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

PANPIEC called in Igbo presidential aspirants to begin to show keen interest in the project and declare their intentions so that other Nigerians will take them seriously.

The pro-democracy organization further called on the people of Igbo nation to show seriousness in the ongoing Voters Registration Exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure actualization of the Nigerian President of Igbo bloc in 2023.

According to the release by the PANPIEC, “We equally call on all Igbo stakeholders to support PANPIEC which is now the rallying point for the Project. We vow not to relent until the project is realized”.
