Plateau killings: Lamido consoles Islamic cleric

Former Governor of Jigawa State, Dr. Sule Lamido has condemned the killing of Muslims in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

This was contained in a statement by his new media aide, Mansur Ahmad, issued to BBNAIJA ONLINE”.

He said Lamido paid a condolence visit to cleric Dahiru Usman Bauchi yesterday in his hometown Bauchi, Bauchi State.

Lamido described the killings of some Muslim faithful while traveling in Rukuba, Jos, as very sad and unfortunate.

BBNAIJA ONLINE” reported that 22 Muslims believers were killed by hoodlums on their way back from annual zikir prayers in Bauchi State.

He consoled Bauchi, families of the victims and the Muslim community over the massacre.

He condemned the killings and prayed for Allah SWA to grant the victims’ souls eternal rest.
