We’re leaving death, disorder for coming generation – Shehu Sani on abducted students

Former Senator Shehu Sani on Wednesday expressed pain over college students in the hands of kidnappers across different locations in Nigeria.

Recall that kidnappers of students of College of Agriculture Bakura, Zamfara State, had demanded 38 million from relatives within 24 hours, the abductees.

Also, the abductors of the remaining 82 students of Bethel Baptist School, Maramara have demanded another N68 million from the parents of the victims, after they had paid N60 million. Both parents have resigned to their fate as they could not afford any more ransom.

Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber between 2015 and 2018, on his verified Facebook on Wednesday noted that, this generation inherited life and order and its bequeathing death and disorder to the next.

According to him, “Students of the Federal Government College Yauri, Kebbi State are in the hands of bandits; students of the Islamic School Tegina, Niger State are in the hands of bandits; students of the Bethel Baptist High School Kaduna State are in the hands of bandits; students of the College of Agriculture Bakura, Zamfara State, are in the hands of bandits.

“This generation inherited life and order and it’s bequeathing death and disorder for the next.”
